I am a 3rd year student of applied geophysics( 5 year program) at  Indian school of mines, dhanbad(India). I have interests in doing an industrial intern in UK or Europe during summer 2011(may- august). I was wondering if anyone could let me know of the various opportunity in this field. I have interests in data aquisition and processing and i have the essential skills needed to do these works though i have not had any first hand  experience in this particular area but by the time of internship i will be very well prepared as i have whole vacations planned for having such experience at national level oil and gas companies like ONGC.Also i have studied the necessary subjects to even ask for this kind of opportunity.But to get ahead in future i need a jump which can only be achived by doing an international intern.
