Hey fellow geologists,

I am a 3rd year undergrad studying applied geology at CSM. I am currently working on my dissertation which requires the creation of a neat copy geological map and i would like to use a program other than powerpoint to make it! Does anyone have any experience with vector drawing programs who could recommend any in particular? Ive heard that corel draw and adobe illustrator are pretty good programs but do they have any limitations?
