As GeologyRocks is a community, it nice to keep in contact with people you meet here. You can keep a list of “friends” on the site. This makes it easier to contact them and see the content they add to the site. To add a friend click on the “add friend” icon that appears on a user’s comment or on their profile page. To add friends you must be a registered user.

Once you’ve added a person as a friend, they must confirm this. They can either accept or reject the request.

To remove a friend, simply click the “remove friend” icon, again on a comment or the user’s profile.
