Umm, this is a matter of some delicacy... where I have to use my gifts of tact and diplomacy to their full extent.

Has anybody else noticed, or thought, that the avatar for apatite looks a little... erm...how can I put this politely? Poo-like?

I think this one would be nice:

Erm, now that I am of the appropriate rank, I'm having trouble eating my bowl of cornflakes whilst looking over the forums...

I've never noticed that before but now that you mention it...

The corundum one always looked like a hunk of raw beef to me

Actually I quite like the Corundum one you have right now, it looks good. Besides I don't see the downside of a hunk of raw beef, in fact, raw beef is positively benign in comparison with Apatite!
