At Durham we used Rutley's 'Elements'. Sadly I sold mine ages ago. I'm looking for a similar level book on Mineralogy, has anyone any recommendations? Rutley seems to have gone out of print (the latest edition I can find on Amazon is the 1988 one).
I use a awesome book shop called ABE, they basically do old textbooks and books that have gone out of print.
Found Rutleys on there for a few squid's (don't know why it's in dollars... its a UK based site).
I've got all my geology books off here, its great as long as you dont want books in spanking new condition.
