I might sound a bit off here, but could you post all the goings on from the BBC on one post? I'm getting tonnes of emails!

Can't seem to do anything right on here.

I don't copy and past them anymore and now have messed up again.

Because of work I can not always get onto here to post everyday or even week, so interesting stories I've come across tend to accumulate.

Sorry .

It is probably best I left the forum.

I can not seem to contribute much because of work and I'm not a geologist just a keen amateur.

There is a lot of interesting information on here and I wish you all well.

Please remove my account.

Thank-you

There's no need to leave, it doesn't matter that you're an amateur, everyone can contribute something here.

Just bear in mind that posting a large number of items like this will result in people's inboxes being flooded. You mention that the articles you want to post tend to accumulate so perhaps you could post them all in just one new topic as ape suggested?

Welcome to GeologyRocks by the way,
Katie

Tragically one of the main geologists working on this project, Ken Thomson, died suddenly last week. R.I.P.

I apologise if i caused bad feelings.

I too am just an amateur, and i can understand that there is lots of really cool info out there to read. I do appreciate that you are consolidating the masses of BBC stuff so that it is easier to read.

as i said, sorry i sounded a bit off, i was getting a new email every minute and after the 7th email, understandably i think, i was thinking of better ways of to sort through them!

and i wouldn't remove your account even if i could! Winking

I'll add another BBC link

BBC series to tell Earth's story : http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6589439.stm

Earth: The Biography will be screened on BBC Two later in the year and presented by Dr Iain Stewart, host of Journeys From the Centre of the Earth.

That sounds like it will be a good series. Dr Iain Stewart makes a good presenter for these programs.
