They will also scan for available feeds. GeologyRocks has many available feeds. There is a main site feed, which can be accessed on any page. Also, any category of content has a feed. This includes forum topics, classifications of image, tutorials, etc as well as blogs. Wherever you see the RSS icon , you can add a feed.
