Does anybody know if there is a specific name for the phenomenon (sp?) exhibited by many marine creatures; whereby they are pale coloured on the ventral surface, and dark coloured on the dorsal surface.
I'm sure there is a term for it but it escapes me! I find that SO frustrating!
