Well, this is my first post. I hope this goes in here. Anyway, currently i'm still at school but as i have my final exams this year i need to think about what i could do afterwards. So, to cut it short, I just wanted to ask whether someone happens to know a good Uni (Geology) in Germany? I know this forum is primarily for English-speaking students of Earth Sciences but perhaps someone has heard of a good place to study in Germany (for example the University of Tuebingen is said to be well known as there is a long tradition of Earth Sciences plus some nice research institutes embedded in this geologically interesting area etc.). What I also attach importance to, is the variety of partner unis for overseas field trips or exchange years (UK etc).
I believe the University of Bonn is supposed to be good but this is only what I have heard from someone I used to know who is doing their PhD there. It might be worth checking out though. Good luck
