Chevron Folding in the cliffs of north cornwall. They were formed in the Variscan Orogeny. (The red blob near the bottom of the picture is my lecturer)

This example of folding is terriffic.  I can follow the layers with less difficulty.  This is great.  May I use this as an illistration for when I view my landscape and road cuts. I plan to go up to our Mt. Able in CA. when the road opens for the summer.

Thank you for this picture.  I will give credit to this site.  The road I go to is nothing compared to the picture above.  Is this picture taken in the United States?  Using this I will be able to locate more features on Mt. Able.  The road is closed every winter due to snow and rock slides.  Thank you for all you input.
