Unconformity between basement slates and Cretaceous cover

Not too clear, but at this point the basement slates could be seen, with the younger sandstone overlying it unconformably, separated by a conglomerate consisting of quartz pebbles. All along the contact Iron Ore could be seen, although I am unsure if it was Haematite or something else. The people in the picture are standing on the Conglomerate, to the left, the pinky coloured material is the slate and to the right the sandstones and a little bit of limestone can be seen
