Hmm, yes well it does look interesting, but from a quick scan of the excerpts it also looks like the author has a political axe to grind. However, anything which sets the cat amongst the pigeons is good in my opinion.
I must admit that I liked "The Selfish Gene", I do however find it difficult to get on with Dawkins style of writing.
I neither particularly agree or disagree with what he thinks about atheism/religion, but I don't take to the way he has gone about it so vociferously. To me it is akin to fundementalism in itself, the only outstanding feature being that he is trying to create some "anti-religious" doctrine.
I can't help thinking (sat here in my "oasis of clear thinking" ) that his message would have been better distributed and accepted in a: "This is what I think, here is my reasoning...what do you think?" kind of way, rather than the adversarial: "This is what I think, aren't I a jolly lot cleverer than you oiks...see, I could solve all the worlds problems. Easy!" way.

Definitely need to buy that book! I greatly admire Dawkins and agree with so much of what he says.
