Just starting on my course studing Geology from home - taken me a year to save for the fees, so really looking forward to it - I'll be swotting up on all the tutorials and hope to make some friends here!
Good Luck Julie, Im sure you will love it I had to drop out of mine, determined to get back in there next year though and in the meantime do some serious learning so I have a better grounding to start with.
My head is already whirling with things - lots of questions and branches of interest and a serious addiction (oh dear!) to this subject - how does everyone chose what to concentrate and specialise on?

I just kind of stumbled into my specialty (carbonate stratigraphy)...just happened. I didn't really make a conscious decision.
