hi all, im a new layperson to geology and im trying to find out f there are any of you out there in central scotland that i might meet up with so that we can explore together and from whom i might glean as much info as possible. i live in clackmannanshire and im fascinated by the local geology. i am keeping the study focused at the moment, to the forth valley, to manage such a massive subject as geology, but mainly so that i can actually see and touch what im reading about. any level of experience as im a beginner so id love to meet up with anyone who just wants to share their knowledge.
I live in Edinburgh. At the moment I'm pretty busy (i.e. too busy), but later in the "summer", I might be taking a group fossil hunting in the Pentland Hills. I will post the details on GR, so keep looking out!
