I found this rock a while back in Wisconsin. It is very heavy for it's size, it feels like a peice of lead. It weighs 15 grams, just over a half ounce. Strong green color.
It looks like a mafic rock that is beginning to be serpetinised. weathering mafic minerals may well lose some of the cations/metals. if they contain some it may form oxides on the surface.
