There appears to be a few clasts or perhaps porphyroclast of unknown material in a few places. Since I'm not familiar with the origin of this rock, I am going to guess that it is possibly some metamorphic form of Leaverite (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leaverite). In all seriousness, I don't know what Rock 1 is. I was just being silly.
Rock 2 : Appears to be a piece of granite with quartz.
Rock 3 : Chunk of quartz.
Rock 4 : I agree. This appears to be metamorphosed sandstone (quartzite).

Sun, 11/18/2012 - 22:15I guess it is quartz too. It is a very common mineral to be found on Earth!
Rock 1: There is some small rocks, quartz (the mineral in rock 2,3) and maybe sand (i am not sure) on the rock. The surface of this rock feels quite sandy and rocky. If you ask me for a guess, I will say it is a granite... Do tell me if I am wrong.
