Confirmation of Rock I.D

Hello Rockhounds! I would like some confirmations in my findings, and if you feel I am incorrect please let me know where I went wrong. All their occurences match the locale roughly, although some such as the Arkose may have been transported from nearby through erosion. Thanks!
Mudstone

  • Contains clays, quartz and sometimes calcite
  • Clay or silt sized particles are lithified rather than laminated
  • Marine or Glacial sediment, both of which fit for the locale

Arkose

  • Quartz. Feldspar (Mica)
  • Coarse Sandstone made from the sediment of a granite structure
  • Indicative of a rapid uplift, matches gelogical occurences in the area.

Greywacke

  • Coarse-fine Quartz, Fedspar and dark coloured mafic minerals
  • Seem to result from a rapid deposition in a turbulent marine environment.

Can anybody confirm what I think these rocks are?

The first

The first one looks like sandstone but could be mudstone.

The other two look metamorphic, possibly quartzite but could also be coarse sandstones.

The images on my computer are so huge I can't really be sure.

I would agree with that Gus,

I would agree with that Gus, from what I can see.

By the way PB - you have managed to do the impossible!!! - at least for computer illiterates like Gus and I. Put pictures on here!

Can you post an explanation of the process please - in simple terms, without computer jargon, without initials - so that we just might grasp it.

Thank you very often.
