Looks like it's a term
Mon, 12/15/2008 - 09:36Looks like it's a term describing any kind of solid, flowstone-like deposit of calcium carbonate formed by fresh water. Could be calcite or aragonite from what I can gather.
I doubt you'll be able to narrow it down too much anyway as terminology in that area isn't too clear at the best of times.
