Wed, 04/30/2008 - 12:04As far as I know, melt isn't generated along transform boundaries. There are certainly intrusive rocks associated with divergant boundaries but I don't know if these are considered to be batholiths with the exception of maybe some of the ones that occur early during rifting like the Cullin hills on Skye.
