Reconstructing Paleoenvironment

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me what I need to look at to reconstruct  a paleoenvironment in a simple sense in terms of evidence?

 Thank you

I'm not 100% certain what

I'm not 100% certain what you're asking here.  If I wanted to reconstruct an environment I would go through my geology books to see how plate tectonics influenced climatic conditions due to ocean closures and orogens.  Is there anything you specifically wanted to know without doing your coursework for you?

Researching Paleoenvironment

I doubt you will find comprehensive info on the subject in general Earth Science or Geology textbooks though there may be specialized texts or papers on the subject. I suggest you start with Wikipedia/Natural Environment to narrow down your interests in this vast subject then follow the Wikipedia "See Also" topics like Paleoecology, Paleogeography and Paleoclimatology. To see land mass conglomerations throughout the eons from Paleozoic times go to www.Scotese.com
