I thought invisibleite was

I thought invisibleite was worth a few bob depending where it comes from and what it look like.  I've got some, or at least I thought I had, but I haven't seen it for a while.

I put an empty box labelled

I put an empty box labelled 'Invisibleite' out at one of the mineral shows several years ago.  Amazing how many people picked it up and looked all round it, even poked at the middle.

But I actually sell coprolite, and nearly everywhere I go someone will pick a piece up and smell it!  100,000,000 years old - I ask you.

But the funniest was the burk who put it to his ear!!!!!!!!!!!  I couldn't resist saying the obvious.

I know people put a shell to

I know people put a shell to their ear and expect to hear the sea but if you put a coprolite to your ear would you expect to hear a dinosaur's backside?

Weeeeell, .........not

Weeeeell, .........not exactly his back side.  I think this guy was listening for a fossilised fart!  Which is exactly what I said.  He had rather a red face, but it gave the other punters a good laugh....and probably got me brownie points.
