I was sitting here at work looking around for a geology forum, and found this one - so I decided to join.
After several years as mudlogger, dataoperator, MWD operator and so on, I decided a couple of years ago that I might as well take the big jump and do what I was trained to do: So now I'm a wellsite geologist out here in the North Sea, Norwegian sector. I work as an independent consultant, but am currently under contract (and schedule) with StatoilHydro.
