I suspect I will probably never catch Dad up as far as geology goes, but I will try my best.

You stick with it.  He's been at it nearly as long as me and we're about even on the points.  You'll get there.  I see you done the first one - i.e. 'send a picture'.

Gus, there is a show inside Carnglaze Caverns next weekend.  Don't know how far that is from you.   Now, I don't think its a  full blown mineral and fossil show, because I feel sure I would have heard about it on the grapevine.  But certainly there is one mineral dealer going to be there.  His name is Rod, but I've mislaid the card he gave me.  That was only yesterday at the AGS Bazaar in Finchley!  What does that say about my memory?????

I can't get there as I shall be doing the Caerphilly Medieval Christmas Market.........in Caerphilly..... see I'm not that bad.

I can't get to Carnglaze "Caverns" - it's a slate mine- although it's not far away.  Christmas is such a special time, so special in fact that I can't go anywhere unless I fill out a form in triplicate.
