La Platte isa surprising place for a geologist to come from. Its flat! I was on an expedition to Cerro Galan years ago and we drove from Beunos Aires right up through Catamarca and into the Andes - Antafagasta de la Sierra.
I just lefyt a message for you to contact Javi-geo about structuual geology and said his English was good - before I knew you were in Argentina. In fact he is Spanish. Probably doesn't speak Castallano though! lol
