Earth-Moon system

We know that Earth's velocity is about 30 km/s. What would be the speed of Earth if there were no moon ? Would it change, and why ?

Which "velocity" are you

Which "velocity" are you referring to? The angular velocity of the daily rotation (which obviously changes depending on latitude) or the velocity of the earth as it goes around the Sun?

If it's the later, then I doubt the Moon has any influence (at least I don't think it does).

In the former case, it has a large influence, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tidal_acceleration

I think you can infer is the Moon wasn't there, this slow down in rotation rate would not have occurred.

Geologists are gneiss!!
