What is this rock?

I found this rock on the banks of the River Severn in Llanidloes, Wales.

I was hoping someone here would be able to identify what it is. My best guess is that it could be Antimony, Manganese or possibly Wurtzite. But to be honest, I don't really have a clue...

Anyone care to take a stab at identifying it?

Agreed, I think it's pyrite

Agreed, I think it's pyrite too.  The area it came from is notable for a wide variety of crystal forms, from the usual cubes to cogwheels.
