What is this rock???

How do you know it contains all those minerals? You clearly know something about geology or mineralogy to be able name them, and therefore a combination of quartz, feldspar and mica would lead one to suppose it was some sort of granite.
A picture and location would be very helpful.

I had an idea with rutile
Wed, 05/02/2012 - 10:34I had an idea with rutile and garnet (but not heard of a magnetite association.) even to the location.
But I feel you may both be right from the 'abruptness' of the question. I shall ignor anything more from him.
