There was a little more than that, but I shall leave people to read the read in the urban dictionary,if they wish.

| A bizarre sliding scale phenomenon where the opposite sex becomes more desirable as their numbers decrease in proportion to the same sex in a small geographic area. The greater the difference in proportion, the greater the opposite sex's desirability is increased. First identified on the Monterey Peninsula in California in 1989, there were almost 100,000 single men at Fort Ord and other military installations which greatly increased the number of single men compared to single women. | ||

I cant find anything on the Monterey Effect...any thoughts, knowledge, papers that might help w-Would be greatly appreciated!
1) -what is it? I cant find it anywhere?
2) - does it have a global impact?
3) - How can this impact be measured?
4) - does this impact correlate with climate change?
Any advice greatly appreciated...im doing a climate change project for geology and cant find anything on this topic!
