Sights around Kinlochleven

Hi, Just joined and visiting grandchild in Fort William and would greatly appreciate your help.  Does anyone have a few Grid Ref's for sites of interest around Kinlochleven. I'm disabled and have to use walking sticks so would appreciate sights within 500m or so of the road. Thank you in anticipation. Stuart

I was over in Ardnamurchan a year ago (just go across on the ferry and turn left - about 30-40 mile.), and as I recall you would have quite an interesting drive if you keep your eyes open along the road side, but you will see other stuff from a distance.   Be careful.  Some of the terrain is pretty viscious in places.

I may have geo maps, history etc scanned in to this pc, so if you send me your email address (put it in a pm) I can forward them to you.

Hi Stuart, and welcome to

Hi Stuart, and welcome to Geology Rocks! Can't answer this question either I'm afraid, (I'm a bit better at the rock identification quizzes we often get from new members, although it always helps if there are fossils too)... Hope you enjoy the site!

Regards,

Ben.
