I suspect that this is

I suspect that this is course work, and we will only point you in the right direction with course work - we won't do it for you.

Whilst I have some ideas on what they are, (good as your pictures are, it is never the same as the 'touchy feel' of a specimen.)

Have you carried out any tests?  What is the object a few inches right of your J label?  What structure or bedding can you see in any of them?

One of our members (Ronnie) has written a rock identification program:-

http://ninescripts.webs.com/

Why not give that a try?  Ronnie would be delighted to receive feedback.  You can post it on here or send a pm to  - Ronnienine.

It would be good for you to come back onto your post here and state what you found with that site.  Shows reflection on learning – and cite it in your write up.  Might be worth an extra mark or two.

BTW you have one which is linked to 'P' but you are holding a label 'Q' on it.  The one linked to 'Q' (which also has a 'q' label on) I have no idea what it is.

You don't state the location of these items. There are some which could be linked and others which are very different – in my opinion from the photos that is.  I could be wrong!  From these differences I suspect it is a collection of some sort.
