I was reading about this
Sat, 01/25/2014 - 18:14I was reading about this just the other day. Can't remember if it was on the web or that book I mentioned 'Supercontinent' by Ted Nield. I'll try to find it, but all my books are packed now, in an attempt to declutter before the house goes on the market.

Goof site, but loads of material, and it'll take you a while to plough through it.

Can anybody shed any light on the origin of the Philippine Mobile Belt platelets. Seemingly they are fragments of other larger plate crusts. But one wonders why they have formed a grouping reminiscent of a collection of broken biscuits?
