I had never heard of 'Debon

I had never heard of 'Debon & Le Fort', but these type of diagrams are familiar.  But what exactly do you want to calculate?

how calculate from oxides in wt%?

I want to know hw to claculate the A and B parameters from major element oxides in wt% (whole rock composition)?

To be quite honest I have

To be quite honest I have never done it.  I imagined that it was just a case of reading off the co-odinates on the diagram (which is really a graph).

I recommend that you ask your tutor for some assistance.  If he hasn't explained it he should have done (if he sets you work to do on it) and if he did explain and you missed it then it is better to get it cleared up now.

I do have a book 'Mathmatics for Geologists', but it is packed pending moving I'm afraid.
