Is anyone else going to the Oxford Colloquium on Saturday (8th)?
You may still be able to get a ticket (£15). It is run by the Oxford Geology Group and is held in the Oxford Natural History Museum.
This years speakers are:-
Prof. David Bridgland (University of Durham) - The importance of river terraces.
Prof. Jenny Clack (Cambridge University) - Life, death and resurection in the Early Carboniferous.
Prof. Gideon Henderson (Oxford University) - Caving into past climates.
Prof. Iain Stewart (Plymouth University) - Geoscience and society.
Prof. John Ludden (B.G.S.) - The Neoproterozoic.
Prof. Chris McLeod (Cardiff University) - Sea Floor Spreading - 50 years on.
Looks like it will be another very informative day.
