T-Rex

Recently the Daily Mail ran an article on how the T-Rex might well have had a sore thrat from all the bellowing.  A few days later this peom appeared........

TYRANNO SORETHROATUS

A billion years ago,
Tyranosaurus Rex
Lived in fearless combat,
With muscles he could flex.

He braved volcanic eruptions,
And a mighty asteroid storm,
Way back there in the ice Age,
Beore you and I were born

His teeth were made for tearing,
A scaley Attila the Hunn,
He never took a prisoner,
But ate them one by one.

This prehistoric terror,
Stalked upon his prey,
Scaring the living daylights,
Out of who got in his way.

His head would sweep from side to side,
His tail swish and swerve,
'Til all the other dinosaurs,
Eventually lost their nerve.

This much feared 'Alpha' dinasaur,
Rode roughshod through the land,
Thinking nothing could stop him,
His life went on as planned.

He would hae ruled forever,
And still be here with us,
If he'd listened to his mother,
And taken his linctus.

That's the T-Rex extinction

That's the T-Rex extinction solved then. They couldn't get the strepsils in their mouth due to only having tiny arms.

Ok, that's the extinction of one species resolved...which is the next? We'll get to explaining that whole mass extinction eventually!

 I'm sure their little arms

I'm sure their little arms were long enough to reach their mouths.  The problem was - like many of the punters who attend shows where I sell - they had short arms and deep pockets!

I am sure that 'sore throat'

I am sure that 'sore throat' is just one of the possibilities that made the T-Rex died. However, it is still very ironic from a T-rex killed by a 'sore throat'.

I love the poem, it describes T-Rex well...

I don't claim to have

I don't claim to have written the poem.  I'm not that clever.  Only just learned to spell T-Rex!
