Not sure if anybody remembers me, I haven't been on the site in a long time, probably over 6 months, maybe almost a year. I've spent my time finishing up my BA geology degree (graduated last month) and subsequently looking for a job. I went on a couple interviews but it doesn't seem like many people are keen on "kids" right out of college, so I accepted a 6 month temporary position at the place I had been working. I've basically just been analyzing water well logs and putting data into a spreadsheet for later use in a modeling program. Our study is on an aquifer and looking at it's makeup- sand zones and how they extend laterally, overall sand percentage (to guage water yield), etc. My eyes get a little buggy from looking at a computer screen all day but it's quiet and fulfilling work.
