Hi all,

'Umble hapologies!  My NEW poota went belly up!  The motherboard and the hard-drive went.

My mate Jim - WhoKnowsAboutTheseThings - has fixed it but had to get new parts because E-BUYER (remember the name and pass it on!) wouldn't honour the guarentee. They said the motherboard was damaged by us (I wouldn't even take the top off a computer 'cos I'm scared of the bits inside!  and I watched Jim strip it out to the Shuttle and pack it in the box.  Definitely not damaged when it left us.

So the answer is don't trust E-BUYER.

So there seem to be lots of blogs to catch up - can't wait for a Vivienne Westwood bag and matching ear-rings! (who is Vivienne Westwood anyway?).  Hopefully that rubbish will be wiped soon.

To date only one person has responded to the gold panning weekend.  It started as a request from the guy who organises the Swanage Folk Festival craft site to take him gold panning. When I saw him last weekend he told me he couldn't go because his narrow boat (lives on it) was going into dry dock that weekend. So I think in view of the lack of response I am going to cancel it.  Steve would still like to do it, so perhaps it can be resurrected next year.

Regards

John

Wouldn't really want to be reading about the clutches of Alexander Wang, either John! Welcome back by the way!
