I can recommend "The Geology
Tue, 04/24/2012 - 05:28I can recommend "The Geology of Somerset" by (Dr) Peter Hardy Ex Libris Press ISBN0-948578-42-4. It was £9.95 (but I've had it some years). Peter worked at Bristol University for many years, but I think he must be retired now, as I haven't seen him anywhere, not even Bath Geological Society, for several years. At one time he taught geology to the blind and got an award for it.
I did a few short courses with him very early on, just after I left the Army, but used to see him at various shows and the Geologist Association Reunion.
