My geology professor spoke to me about Salton Sea a couple of days ago and I've done a little research myself and found mud volcanoes in the area but my professor spoke about there being volcanoes by the shore line. If someone could help me locate them I would appreciate it. I also saw that the SAF is near the lake and was wondering if it could even be seen if I go there. Also if I go see the mud volcanoes should I take any precautions or are they relatively safe to get near them. Thanks!
