I'm just sending off my application for membership - although I live in Brighton I grew up in Cornwall and find its geology and mining history fascinationg. I was wondering if anyone else here is a member? And I'm going to put in an ad for their website (I hope that's ok) http://www.rgsc.org.uk/

Maybe we should have a thread for societies?

Thanks for that - they've had some problems with the site and a few other things, but are looking forward to the future, and keen to encourage participation.

Duncanhill, i think problem is with their view, they didn't understand the site layout.
