It is doubtful that I shall do any more teaching of basioc geology at evening classes, following a bust up ith the WEA (Workers Educational Association). Therefore I am putting my collection of teaching speciemens up for sale. I haven't made up a list, but I imagine there must be about 100.
It is mainly rocks and probably equal of the three rock types (mostly 1 1/2 - 2" hand specimens), but there are a few fossils. The minerals (very few) appear to have been well nibbled by students (no surprise there then!) I would be looking for about £50 for the lot. I would have to say that they must be collected from Wiltshire, although my job does take me to other parts of the country, and if I could help I would.
