Just a quick reminder that next weekend is the Bakewell Rock Exchange in Lady Manners School, Bakewell, Derbyshire.
It is probably the biggest private/club show in UK. Because of it central location all the southern and northern dealers meet up - probably the only time during the year.
It is well signed from the town centre, and will be on the website of the PMLS (Peak Mineral & Lapidary Society). I think it will cost you £1.50 per day to go in, or (I believe) a £2 for a two day ticket. Open 10 to 5 both days.
Please don't try to be a cheapskate, park in town and walk. You will regret it. Its about a mile up a very steep hill, and the parking up there is free!
Inside consists of two halls - plus some tables in the entrance hallway. Please come and say hello to me. I will be in the smaller hall (they call it the 'drama hall', I'd call it where you get a 'char and wad' - tea and sarni to those wot don't chat the Queens Engleash!). I am in the corner by the window, tables 98 & 99 if that is on your programme. if I'm not actually there, Tony on the next table will be looking after my stuff while I am turning my bike round, getting a char and wad etc. and I won't be long.
