The Bakewell Rock Exchange is run by the Peak Lapidary & Mineral Society, and id now in its 26th year from its humble beginnings. Its the biggest club show in UK, because Bakewell (Derbyshire) is roughly halfway up (or down) the country. Therefore it is the one show where the northern and southern mineral dealers meet up.
It is on 11th / 12th October in Lady Manners School on the outskirts of Bakewell, and well signed. Ample parking in the school - tip: don't try parking in town and walking !
If you come please come and say hello to Dr Quartz - me. Any of the PL&MS members will be able to tell you where I am, as will a large number of the dealers, but as a clue I'm not far from the food!
