I'm reading "The Man Who Found Time" by Jack Repcheck, which is about James Hutton. I find this subject facinating and I'm always jealous when I read descriptions of geology that I'll probably never see. So far, I've read about Castle Rock in Edinborugh (sp?) and a coastal voyage Hutton took near "Firth of Forth" (whatever that means!!). Has anyone else read this book or can suggest a different one describing the life and times of a famous geologist (like Charles Lyell).
Thanks
