I have always been interested in earth sciences and am thinking of going for a degree in a subject that fascinates me. The trouble is I am 39 and the only way I could do this is via Open University as I have a family and need to work to pay the bills.
Am I mad or would it be possible to go for a job in this area at my time of life?
