I'll be grateful if anybody can identify those rocks. My son need their names for a project.

Oi! Homework, No!!!

I've no objection to helping a genuine amateur with a rock identification in this forum - but I strongly object to doing someone's homework for them.

If your son is to learn geology , then he has to do if properly.

This is cheating, and, if caught, he could end up in serious trouble.

I agree. There are wonderfil

I agree. There are wonderfil rock identification books and charts in almost every library with excellent fotos and illustrations inside. Most of the rock fotos look pretty easy to recognise and I think it's possible even for an amateur with one of these books. If you still have 2 or 3 rocks that you cannot identify with some books I am sure no one here would mind helping out then. I would recommend some books about igneous rocks and some mineralogy for most of these. Just as small hint. Smiling face
