carbonate cementation relating to an ideal island model!

Can anyone help me understand how carbonate cementation can be related to an "ideal island" model!

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am afraid you have to tell me first what you mean by an ideal island model because even after a quick google search I don't know what that is suppossed to be. What aspect of carbonate cementation are you interested in?

Basically, just a model that shows the marine/freshwater phreatic zones, vadose zones, just a basic island model, and their relationship to Carbonate cementation. I think i understand but if you know anymore it would be greatly appreciated
