I have recently visited the Isle of Arran just off Scotland. Now i know most of you keen geologists will have been there before but to all those who haven'tI would like to emphasise how brilliant it is, there is so much to see there, but one let down, the Hutten's uncomformitty, the first one ever descovered, is rubbish

Hutton's Unconformity

It actually didn't rain at
Wed, 12/09/2009 - 15:50It actually didn't rain at all the first time i went there which was really suprising! Unfortunately the next time there was snow, rain, hail, everything. Oh well at least the first time was ok.
